ok passed every check. risky can receive mail but is flagged (disposable, role account, likely typo, or no MX record). invalid can't receive email (bad syntax, domain doesn't exist, or no mail servers). unknown means the DNS lookup failed, so try again.

Does this check whether the mailbox exists?
No. It checks everything that can be verified safely: syntax, whether the domain can receive mail, disposable domains, role accounts and common typos. Mailbox-level (SMTP) checks are slow, often blocked, and can hurt your sender reputation. Use this to remove obvious junk cheaply first.
Which disposable domains do you detect?
Thousands, from a community-maintained public list that updates constantly (mailinator.com, 10minutemail and so on), including their subdomains.
How many emails can I check for free?
Up to 100 unique emails at a time. For bigger lists, file uploads, an API or scheduled runs, use the bulk version on Apify.
