MX record lookup
See which servers receive email for a domain, in priority order, and which email provider it uses. Handy for troubleshooting bounces or finding out whether a company uses Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Works with a domain, an email address or a website URL. Lookups run in your browser over public DNS; nothing is stored.
Checking many domains, or clients' domains?
The Email Deliverability Checker audits SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS and BIMI for hundreds or thousands of domains at once, grades each A–F with fixes, and exports to CSV/Excel or an API. Run it on a schedule to catch broken records. $8 per 1,000 domains, no subscription.

What is an MX record?
A DNS record that tells other mail servers where to deliver email for a domain. Each has a priority; lower numbers are tried first.
What does "null MX" mean?
An MX record pointing to ., which states that the domain accepts no email at all (RFC 7505).
Can I check whether email addresses are real?
MX records show whether a domain can receive mail. To check a list of addresses (syntax, dead domains, disposable and role accounts), use the free email validator.
